To register please send a mail with name, address, phone number, curriculum vitae and a maximum of 10 photo files (72 dpi) or web site address by the 31st October 2010 at the latest. Tell us also the number of meetings (6, 12 or 18) you want to book. Send to: office@anikahandelt.com

Three preferred experts may be named though there is no guarantee that they will be assigned. The organisers reserve the right to allocate the times of sessions.

The list of participants will be posted on this website right after the deadline and also published in our newsletter. On payment of the registration fees these people will be regarded fixed participants in the Review.

International Portfolio Review

Die 3. Internationale Portfolio Review in Wien ermöglicht Fotografinnen und Fotografen aus der künstlerischen und dokumentarischen Fotografie den direkten Meinungsaustausch mit gleich mehreren renommierten Fachleuten. Die anika handelt Galerie hat wieder heimische und internationale Kuratoren, Art Direktoren, Herausgeber, Galeristen und Festivalveranstalter eingeladen, im Rahmen von Vieraugen-Gesprächen Feedbacks zu fotografischen Arbeiten zu geben. Die Internationale Portfolio Review ist die ideale Möglichkeit für Networking – im Bestfall gelangen überzeugende Arbeiten auf diesem Wege in Ausstellungen, werden in Magazinen präsentiert oder Künstler zu Fotografiefestivals eingeladen. Stattfinden wird die Review am Kunsthallen-Standort project space karlsplatz.

 

Teilnehmen können Fotografinnen und Fotografen, deren Arbeiten einen Projekt- und Werkszusammenhang sowie eine eigenständige künstlerische Idee erkennen lassen. Kommerzielle Auftragsarbeiten sind nicht erwünscht. Einschränkungen hinsichtlich Alter oder Nationalität existieren keine. Die Gespräche finden auf Deutsch oder Englisch statt.

  

Aufgrund der limitierten Anzahl der Plätze behält sich die anika handelt Galerie eine kuratorische Auswahl der eingesendeten Projekte vor. Bitte um Verständnis, dass zu einer Absage keine Stellungnahme gegeben wird.

The 3rd International Portfolio Review in Vienna enables photographers who are active in the areas of art and documentarism to directly exchange views with a number of renown specialists. The anika handelt Gallery has once again invited local and international curators, art directors, publishers, gallery owners, and festival organizers to provide feedback in one to one conversations. The International Portfolio Review is the ideal opportunity for networking – in the best case scenario convincing work finds its way via this process into exhibitions, is published in magazines, or artists are invited to photography festivals. The Review will take place at the Kunsthalle site project space karlsplatz.
All photographers whose work exhibits a project and oeuvre relatedness as well as showing independent artistic ideas can take part. Commercially commissioned works are not desired. There are no limitations as to age or nationality. The conversations will take place in German or English.
 

Due to limited availability of places the anika handelt Gallery reserves a curatorial selection of submitted projects. Please understand that there is no opportunity to provide statements.
