Geboren in Wien. Im Mai 1989 gründet sie die Agentur für Fotografen Regina Maria Anzenberger, die sie seither leitet (www.anzenberger.com).
2002 Gründung der AnzenbergerGallery (www.anzenbergergallery.com), die Plattform für fine art prints der Agenturfotografen. Seit 1997 Mitglied des International Nominating Committees der Joop Swart Masterclass des World Press Photo. 1999 Editor des Specials über Austrian Documentary Photography. Arbeit als Kuratorin für nationale und internationale Ausstellungen und Herausgeberin der Bildbände  Regina Maria Anzenberger – 22 Fotografen (Edition Stemmle, Zürich 1997) , east und Ferdinand Schmutzer – The Photographic Work  (beide moser verlag München 2008). 2008 Mitglied des Nominierungskomitees des Paul Huf Award des FOAM Fotomuseum Amsterdam und des Prix Pictet.

Interessiert sich besonders für Langzeitprojekte mit starker Bildsprache.

Since 1997 she is a member of the nominating committee for the Joop Swart master class of World Press Photo. 1999 editor of the special on Austrian documentary photography. She has worked as curator for national and international exhibitions and is the publisher of the photo book Regina Maria Anzenberger – 22 Fotografen (Edition Stemmle, Zurich 1997), east and Ferdinand Schmutzer – The Photographic Work (both by moser verlag Munich 2008). 2008 nominating committee for the Paul Huf award of the FOAM Fotomuseum Amsterdam and the Prix Pictet.

She has a special interest in long term projects with a strong pictorial idiom.
