Denis Brudna, geb. in Prag, dort Studium der Malerei, Grafik und Fotografie. 1971 Gründungsmitglied des Kulturzentrums Fabrik in Hamburg, seitdem dort u. a. für Werbung und Ausstellungen tätig. 1989 Gründung und Herausgabe der Zeitschrift Photonews. Kurator von Fotografieausstellungen, die in der Reihe Fabrik Fotoforum im Altonaer Museum, Museum für Kunst und Kulturgeschichte in Hamburg gezeigt werden.
Anna Gripp, geb. in Schenefeld bei Hamburg. Fotoassistenz in Berlin. Ausbildung zur Fotografin an der Bayerischen Staatslehranstalt für Photographie in München. Seit 1988 in Hamburg. Seit 1989 bei Photonews tätig. Parallel Arbeit als freie Autorin, u.a. Hauptautorin des Buches “Fotografie-Studium in Deutschland” (hrsg. 1993 von der DGPh).
Photonews möchte nicht nur aktuell informieren sowie Debatten in der Fotografie begleiten und anstoßen, sondern auch unterschiedliche Bereiche der Fotografie (Kunst, Reportage, Dokumentation, Modefotografie etc.) verbinden. Insofern sind wir offen für die verschiedenen Genres der professionellen Fotografie und neugierig auf eigenständige und individuelle Projekte. Infos auch unter www.photonews.de. 

Denis Brudna, born in Prague where he studied painting, graphic arts and photography. In 1971 he was a founding member of the cultural centre Fabrik in Hamburg and has been responsible for advertising and exhibition there since that time. In 1989 founded and published the magazine Photonews. Curator of photography exhibitions that have been shown in the series Fabrik Fotoforum in the Altonaer Museum and the Museum für Kunst und Kulturgeschichte in Hamburg.
Anna Gripp, born in Schenefeld near Hamburg. Assistant photographer in Berlin. Qualification as a photographer at the Bavarian Government Institute for Photography in Munich. In Hamburg since 1988. She has been with Photonews since 1989. Parallel work as freelance author and is the main author of the book “Fotografie-Studium in Deutschland” (pub. In 1993 by DGPh).
Photonews does not only want to communicate current news and discourses in photography but also wishes to link up different areas in photography (art, reportage, documentation, fashion photography etc.).
