Portfolio Review 2010 / Experten

Marta Szymanska works for International Festival of Photography in Lodz from 5 years. She used to work as a catalogue and book editor, portfolio review coordinator than as a project manager of the festival. In edition 2011 of Fotofestiwal she is mainly responsible for the program.
She is interested in all kinds of photography. Instead of discussing with photographers development possibilities, she can offer them the potential for exhibition or slide show presentation during Fotofestiwal and support in preparing portfolio. Due to Fotofestiwal’s theme in 2011 she would be especially interested in viewing project that might be presented in the urban space and projects that are focused on the topic of eccentrity and freak in contemporary society.
She also worked as a coordinator of Photo Festival Union – The Union of European Festivals of Photography (www.festivalunion.com), the association that joins international festivals of photography. She would be able to inform about different ways of promotion offering by festivals of photography (open programmes, portfolio reviews, contests).
